WHY “PROPER USEFUL”
The name comes from a British phrase — something described as “proper useful” isn’t flashy or decorative for its own sake. It’s beautiful because it works.
British gardens have long influenced how I see design: structure balanced with softness, utility woven into beauty, spaces that feed both the eye and the table.
